New Digital Interpretation in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

In 2016/17 the Canal & River Trust renovated a unique double radial lock at Carpenters Road in the middle of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. Hampshire Country Park Transformation

For the past eight months we have been working closely with our partners at TGA.London (more to come!), five Country Parks in Hampshire and the County Council to develop an exciting new approach to their communication, interpretation and wayfinding.

These iconic elements then radiate out through the parklands appearing in signage and wayfinding, as play prompts and marking narrative hotspots. The parks are connected across vast human and geologic timelines that criss-cross the landscape, waiting to be explored if you know how to look.

KYPExplore Launches

Have you ever wondered what makes a place the way it is now? Or wished you could travel back in time and discover how your area has changed over the years?

Working with some 20 content partners – archives, records offices and museums – the HLF and the South Gloucestershire County Council, City-Insights has created a complete set of four touring digital exhibitions exploring the heritage of the West of England.

This exhibition uses our C-I Platform, in combination with the Know Your Place mapping tool, to take the heritage collections of the West of England out of the archives and museums, take them on the road and put them back into the places that inspired and generated them.
