In place of the old text-heavy interpretation panels, Hotrod Creations have created a three-layer package designed to appeal to different visitor types:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tAttractive new graphic panels explain the purpose of each room and give traditional visitors clues to understand the architecture and decoration. In the two gatehouses the entire rooms have now become a painting, thanks to bespoke murals showing scenes from the castle\u2019s history of expansion and ruin.<br \/>\n\u2022\tA new suite of digital content sits on Cadw\u2019s new smartphone app (Raglan Castle was one of the first Cadw sites to develop this app layer). The digital element provides multimedia, including historic images, dramatised dialogues and artist\u2019s impressions.<br \/>\n\u2022\tEight fantastical interactive contraptions by the castle\u2019s 17th century owner, Edward Somerset\u00a0(who was also a mad genius inventor) were created and installed.
