National Waterways Museum
Client: National Waterways Museum
Goal: Revive the visitor offer on a shoestring budget.
Delivery: This Gloucester-based museum urgently needed a refresh of its interpretation, but had little or no budget for capital expenditure. Working on a ‘triage’ model, we devised a spending strategy that dramatically improved the interpretation and overall look of the galleries without requiring major alterations to fixed items. Our work was completed within a tight six-month period, and fully met the client brief.
Result: The visitor numbers at the museum revived, and the museum is now Gloucester’s second best rated attraction after the cathedral.
