Hampshire Country Park Transformation

For the past eight months we have been working closely with our partners at TGA.London (more to come!), five Country Parks in Hampshire and the County Council to develop an exciting new approach to their communication, interpretation and wayfinding.

The experience starts with bespoke iconic sculptures, 21st century totems with the elements drawn from the parks’ unique identities. These iconic elements then radiate out through the parklands appearing in signage and wayfinding, as play prompts and marking narrative hotspots. The parks are connected across vast human and geologic timelines that criss-cross the landscape, waiting to be explored if you know how to look.

Our approach with this Country Park Transformation project (part of the wider Parks for People initiative) uses an integration of physical, visual, experiential and digital techniques to create coherent, inter-related yet unique and memorable visitor experiences, rooted in the parks’ identities and local knowledge.
